In the process of implementing Dflss in XRCE projects, continuous integration and coding quality measurement and business intelligence has become important for all development teams. The use of code quality tools is often complex and these tools offer many options that may or may not be useful or meaningful.
The goal of this internship is to uniformize the easy setup and use of continuous integration system and code quality assurance tools among the teams, to establish coding best practices, and to provide different meaningful reports that will help the team to ensure code readability/reusability and standardization. Those best practices will be implemented and tested against the quality checking tools for future projects during the build process.
The internship will require the setup of a continuous integration system, then establish the best practices to be followed by consulting the team members and benchmarking. Finally to implement them as configurable rules via the code quality tools.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge in code quality and strong programming skills in C# or Java and their respective build environment. Knowledge of NAnt, Cruise Control, dependency checking tools is a plus.
