Ethnographic internship on simulation in healthcare

The Work Practice Technologies team at the Xerox Research Centre Europe (XRCE) is conducting a research project on the use of simulators for training at the Hospital. In this project, we are collaborating with the several hospitals and simulation centers. The aim is to better understand the use of simulators and leverage the impact of training supported by simulation for trainees and for the organization.

This internship is for one student(s) who will work with the team on an ethnographic study. The study includes the fieldwork and data gathering, the post-treatment of the data and the analysis and the sharing of the result with the simulation centre involved and the research community.

The desired job profile includes very good skills for observational studies (ethnography, ergonomics, psychology, sociology), ethnographic analysis and strong interest for research projects. The candidate needs communication skills both in French and English. The internship is located in Grenoble.
