GIS (Geographical Information service) and mapping web technologies are today evolving very fast with the emergence of open web standard, in particular around the Open Street Map ecosystem. Xerox continuously tries to leverage and extend these technologies for its specific needs.

The purpose of the internship is to develop an existing GTFS editor with new functionalities and sets of modular tools to edit and enrich public transport schedules from GTFS format. The outcome of this work will benefit to our internal research around urban mobility analytics and trip planning.


The ideal candidates are Computer Science students (2nd year of MSc or last year of Engineering school) with a good knowledge in GIS technologies, Rest services, JavaScript and web technologies in general as well as Agile Continuous Integration.

S/He should be motivated by new technologies and innovation. They will work closely with research engineers in an international environment with a good intern community.
