I am a Principal Scientist, in charge of the research direction of the Parsing and Semantics group. I joined XRCE in May 2012, coming from the University of Geneva, where I still do some teaching. Please see my Geneva web page for more information. I am on the editorial board of Computational Linguistics, and was Program Co-Chair of EMNLP-CoNLL 2012.
My research is in statistical models and machine learning for natural language processing. I work mostly on statistical models of syntactic and semantic parsing and various forms of information extraction. My research interests also include spoken dialogue systems, cross-lingual models, parsing algorithms, machine learning for structured prediction, and unsupervised machine learning.
