Yves Hoppenot is the Managed Print Services (MPS) program manager for the Xerox Innovation Group where he is responsible for the technology transfer between research and the MPS business group.
He is a software expert for the production, office and services sectors, and an engineer at heart. Hoppenot thrives on his ability to help to build and influence the future direction of Xerox office services and products, ensuring that the technology being developed inside Xerox labs continues to meet the needs of Xerox office customers today and tomorrow.
Hoppenot previously worked for the Executive Experience Centre in Grenoble, France where he enjoyed the everyday challenge of taking a research prototype and developing a demo for customers that shows what the technology is capable of -- even if at an early stage of research. His job was to create demo content that was true to the research, understandable and accessible to a very broad audience. This and his current job tap into his ability to balance creativity and authenticity.
He joined the Xerox Research Centre Europe in 2001. Hoppenot graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, Brest in France with a degree in engineering and received a Master of Science degree in image and signal processing from Tampere University of Technology, Finland.
