Anna Stavrianou

Anna joined XRCE in September 2011 as part of the Parsing and Semantics research group.
Her research interests lie in the domain of text and opinion mining, Web mining, personalized and recommender systems.
Anna has been an active member of the scientific community having taken part in conference organizations and being a PC member of international conferences (most recently WEBIST 2012).
Prior to joining Xerox she worked as an IT engineer for the banking and telecom business in UK, Italy and Greece and as a temporary assistant professor in the University of Lyon 2, France.
Anna holds a BSc in Informatics (University of Piraeus), an MSc of Advanced Information Systems (University of Glasgow) and a PhD in Informatics (University of Lyon 2).
