DOCUMENT STRUCTURE

OVERVIEW :

Among the many issues related to Document Structure and esp. XML documents, our research addresses two major themes. The first one is developing and combining new methods for Legacy Document Conversion. This research builds on our accumulated expertise (SmartTagger, Intelligent Adviser) and addresses issues in document analysis (document mining and clustering, querying, visualization) and document conversion, with strong focus on machine learning (supervised and unsupervised methods) and combination of hybrid methods for document acquisition.
The second theme is XML Schema management. This research addresses ways to link together different XML stores, and to repurpose and reformulate XML documents in order to enable “Smart processes”.
