Keeping digital information safely intact and accessible in the face of constant change - European Project 'Pericles'
This new 4 year European Project will develop technology so that digital content typically characterized as complex, heterogeneous, highly-interconnected and changing can retain its integrity, be understood and reused in a secure fashion. Technology models that will be developed include linked data, preservation and lifecycle models and semantic context and analysis. The project consortium unites public and private academic institutions with expertise in various aspects of digital preservation and information analytics, commercial partners and non-academic public sector organisations with digital holdings in the creative arts, archives and scientific data.
