Gilbert Harrus is currently in charge of the Intellectual Property
and Business Valuation activities at the Xerox Research Centre Europe;
this includes for example the oversight of contractual relationships
with research partners, First employee at the Xerox Research Centre, Gilbert was a Director
for the Before joining Xerox Research Centre Europe in Grenoble, Gilbert Harrus was a Project Leader at O2Technology, a start-up from INRIA, where he articipated in an advanced R&D effort for building the O2 Object Oriented Database Management System. Gilbert Harrus studied Mathematics at the Ecole Normale Supérieure
before joining the University of Paris-Sud, France, where he obtained
a Doctorate in Computer Science in 1984. Between 1982 and 1987, he
was a researcher and a teacher at this University. He is an author
or co-author of around 10 scientific papers.
