Profile

I am a PhD student (Cifre grant) and member of the Large Scale Data Mining (LSDM) group at XRCE. I am working under the supervision of Jean-Michel Renders from the LSDM group, and Massih-Reza Amini and Patrick Gallinari from the Computer Science Laboratory (LIP6) of Pierre and Marie Curie University, (Paris 6).

My research focuses on Machine Learning techniques for text mining. I am particularly interested in semi-supervised and active learning for classification of textual data.

I hold an MSc in Advanced Computing (Machine Learning and Data Mining) from the University of Bristol, UK, and a Degree in Informatics, from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece.

I am a member of the European Network of Excellence PASCAL (Pattern Analysis, Statistical Modelling and Computational Learning).
